This art project was a lesson based off of Picasso. We created a profile view and a forward view of the face in one picture using oil colors and crayons. The primary concept of this lesson was abstract art which was taught very well.
As an extension activity I would add a background for the face. The background would need to be abstract as well. The face could either be cut out and pasted onto the abstracrt background or the student could color around the face.
