This is a mothers day project. We made geometric flowers using scrapbook paper and stems using Popsicle sticks. We cut out large green strips of construction paper and glued them around the stick. Then we put those to a side to dry. After that we were given a stencil to trace and we created our flower by using that. Inside our flower we wrote notes to our mother or whoever the intended receiver was.
As an extension activity I would have students create a paper vase to put the flowers in.
