This is a lily pad made of construction paper and tissue paper. For this lesson we were first taught about lily pads and where they were found and then we looked at a certain artist and made this project based off of that. 

As an extension activity I would have students create a paper origami frog or fish. Therefore we can go deeper into what the lily pad does for the environment and what does it provide a habitat for.
